Getting Over What Other People Think

A few weeks ago I was at Western Michigan for a Kent State football game. It was a 5 hour trek each way plus the game and I was trying to get some exercise in.

The only time was at half time, on a flat part of the grass hill in the endzone.

I thought it was a perfect opportunity to get over what other people thought of me.

So I began jogging in place. Shortly later some drunk college kids came up and started to make fun of me. I ignored it and it lasted for 5 minutes until a guard came up and told them, “Leave him alone”

Then I quipped, “You should probably listen to him”

It was nice to be able to do something and not really feel affected by what other people think.
