Can You Influence God’s Mind?

The short answer is yes.

Let me elaborate. Too often in the Bible I have read stories like Jacob, Moses, Job and Abraham where they asked God to change their mind.

Genesis 32:28 says, “He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.”

Did you catch those last two words. Have prevailed.

Wow! Have you ever felt like your relationship was one way with God? This is an encouraging verse that your relationship doesn’t have to be one way. It doesn’t have to be, “Oh whatever you want God is want I want.”

Be respectful, but express your feelings honestly. Be raw, Be Authentic.

One of my greatest answers to a prayer is when I used a DEARMAN on God. For more on DEARMAN, Google “DEARMAN DBT”
