3 Tips To Help Identify Your Needs

This morning I went through my general routine of, spending quiet time, eating a healthy breakfast, going on a walk, etc.

But this feeling of hunger came up? I stopped and asked myself. What is this hunger? I knew I had a healthy breakfast for me.

I knew it wasn’t physical.

After checking in with myself, I realized it was a spiritual hunger. I went to my journal and just started writing things down like… “What are my spiritual needs, What are my emotional needs, What are my mental needs, etc”

Just the act of putting it down on paper I felt spiritually filled up and when I went on another walk this afternoon it was much more lively.

I have realized by “spiritual”, I don’t necessarily mean even reading a spiritual book. It can involve 1. journaling, 2. going on a walk, 3. enjoying a hobby. When you stop and think about it, anything can be spiritual if you allow it to be.
